Llegan tablets a los taxis de Nueva York

iPads en los taxis de NYLos taxis de la ciudad de Nueva York actualmente cuentan con pequeños televisores instalados en la parte trasera de estos, pero según la prensa local estos están cerca de ser reemplazados por tablets.

Según The New York Times, una empresa de San Francisco llamada Square propuso un programa piloto experimental para instalar este tipo de aparatos que hasta ahora se conoce al iPad como el candidato en 50 taxis.

Durante su viaje, el pasajero podrá buscar información de la ciudad, jugar, realizar compras, etc. Las televisores que actualmente están instaladas en los taxis neoyorquinos fueron instaladas en el 2007. A través de estas televisiones el pasajero se puede enterar de noticias de actualidad, espectáculos y publicidad. Acciones que resultan mucho más entretenidas y oportunas desde un iPad.

Square ha de presentar formalmente su programa a la comisión de taxis y limusinas de la ciudad el primero de marzo. Aún se desconocen las aplicaciones que estarían disponibles desde el tablet. Nada mal para una ciudad que puede brindar esos lujos en el transporte público, buena iniciativa para ayudar a los turistas y a los ciudadanos.

    Heya just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.

    Almost all of whatever you mention is supprisingly legitimate and it makes me ponder why I hadn’t looked at this with this light before.
